| Adoption Policies If you want to adopt a glider from me please follow these steps... Review the following Adoption Policies Fill out an Adoption Questionnaire Once approved, I will send you the Adoption Contract as an email attachment. Please print 2 copies. Then have BOTH copies signed, notarized, and snail mail BOTH copies to me. I will then sign and return your copy by mail. No glider will leave my home without a signed & notarized contract! |

| Health Guarantee YOU must take your new joey(s) to the veterinarian within 48 hours of arrival for a health check or immediately if the glider is showing signs of illness. All fees, tests, and veterinarian bills are the responsibility of the buyer. If you do not do this, your health guarantee is voided. Should your glider become ill within 72 hours due to parasites or a similar condition that is directly related to Krys' Kritters facility and the glider has not been exposed to any other animals, I will pay the vet bills directly related to the medical condition. A medical exam will be needed by a qualified veterinarian to prove illness and proper verification must be submitted to me within 7 days. Should the glider pass away within the 72 hours, due to parasites or a similar condition that is directly related to Krys' Kritters' facility and the glider has not been exposed to any other animals, you have the right to a full refund, or a replacement of your glider (if available). The choice is yours. A medical exam will be needed by a qualified veterinarian to prove illness at the expense of the buyer. Trauma, stress related illness, and bacterial infections related to stress are NOT covered. You are responsible for watching for signs of stress or stress symptoms. Should symptoms arise, the buyer is responsible to get the glider to the veterinarian immediately. All veterinarian bills incurred for stress related illness will be the responsibility of the buyer. This guarantee does not cover accident, neglect, or mistreatment of any kind. Wellness Exam & Health Certificates Are available upon request for a fee of $50 each. Health certificates must be requested at least 7-10 business days before the joey is available. No joey will go to its new home before 8-9 weeks oop Krys' Kritters reserves the right to keep any joey longer, if deemed necessary for the glider's overall health and wellbeing. Refusal of Sale Krys' Kritters reserves the right to refuse sale to anyone at anytime. (If I back out of the sale your deposit will be refunded.) No joey will be sold to a buyer in an illegal state Illegal States are... Alaska California Hawaii Massachusetts & the 5 boroughs of New York City The laws and rulings are constantly changing and it is very hard to keep up with the changes. Please contact each state in order to be absolutely sure of the legality. You should also contact your city or local officials as well, Some states they are legal in, but the cities have their own ordinances and may require you to obtain a license or permit. Pet Only/Neuter Incentive A "Pet Only" contract requires the joey to be neutered within 6 months OOP by a licensed veterinarian. This will typically be done by my vet before the joey goes to its new home, entitling the buyer a discount in price. However, if it is done by another vet after leaving my home, proof of neuter from a licensed vet is required within 6 months of OOP date, at which time the neuter incentive price difference agreed upon will be refunded. Pick up & Shipping Information I prefer you come to my home and meet your new joey and his/her parents but if you can't, I may be able to meet you and shipping is also available to legal states only at the buyer's risk. I can take no responsibility for any glider once it has left my care. Shipping is through Continental Airlines for $250 Shipping fee includes the shipping rates charged by continental, shipping crate, pouch, vet wellness exam, health certificate, apple slices, gas, & tolls. I apologize if you think my shipping rate is high but the nearest airport is over an hour away and as you can see, I pay more of the expenses out of my own pocket to keep the cost lower for you. I do NOT make any money on shipping. Breakdown of Shipping: Continental Airline Flight $170 Wellness Exam & Health Certificate $65 Gas & Tolls $25 Crate, Pouch, Basket, etc $40 Actual Total $300 Your Total $250 KrysKritters reserves the right to change its policies and/or prices at any time without notice. Also the right to refuse any sale. |
| Once this is done, you have entered into a contract bound by law and have agreed to the terms mentioned in the contract! *If you are under the age of 18, you can NOT sign the contract. I must speak with your legal guardian and they will be responsible for signing the contract. A 25% non refundable deposit is required to hold a joey. |
| Abandonment Clause If a joey(s) is NOT picked up within 30 days and NO prior arrangements have been made, the joey(s) is considered "abandoned". The buyer forfeits all money paid for the joey(s) and the joey(s) once again becomes my property. |
